I found this great site that has a large article about green roofs as urban ecosystems. It’s a long article but very informative, it gives everything from the history of green roofs to types of vegetation to landscape properties. It also has some great pictures to go along with what it’s talking about.

This is the Canada Green Building Council site.  It has lots of interesting and useful information on green building and LEED (The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design).  I have found this site useful in my previous projects and will continue to use its information for future ones.

This site shows simple contempary garden designs. The 3 different scaled steps leading up to the bed are amazingly simple yet are able to give the sensation that you are floating of the water, giving weightlessness, which leads to relaxation.

The project known as Fresh Kills is by John McAsian and partners and is located in New York. On this site they look at the methods of incorperating marsh land and green space with which human interaction can still be a part of. The ideas presented are interesting and worth checking out.
